This tiny crocus linoprint is handprinted on beautiful lokta paper in either pale sky blue or purple and deep, yet fresh, green ink. The print was inspired by those beautiful delicate flowers that are pushing up through the still-cold earth in the countryside and our garden. It is inspired by those beautiful, welcome splashes of floral colour that grace our gardens in the late winter and through to the spring.

This tiny artwork was printed by hand onto beautiful lokta paper using Schmincke water-based ink. The handmade paper is an ‘antique' colour (off-white meets sepia) and has a lovely texture, adding to the natural beauty of this botanical print. Printed at home in the Nettle Cottage Prints studio, this print would make a lovely gift for anyone who loves crocuses, flowers, nature, botanicals, or folk art; a great addition to any home.

The paper measures approx. 11cm x 14.5cm and the print itself measures approx. 3.7cm x 6.3cm.

It will be sent flat in a sturdy cardboard-backed envelope with a compostable cellophane wrap (this takes a little longer to compost down in a home compost bin). All packaging is 100% recycled, recyclable and compostable.
