Roosting Harmony
Roosting harmony
Our village is full of wild chickens, roaming free and sleeping in trees.
Symbolism – groundedness
As chickens can’t fly, using their wings only to aid very good jumping, they spend a lot of time on the earth. Their source of nourishment comes from the ground – grass, worms, insects, berries that fall from tree, and the seeds we take them when we’re passing.
This 30cm x 30cm off-white mounted print is ready to be placed in a frame of your choice.
This original lino print was carved by hand in the North York Moors and printed with non-toxic ink on beautiful Ho-sho paper, which has some natural flecks.
There are also slight variations in the finished print. This is part of the charm of an original print.
All packaging is 100% recycled, recyclable and compostable.
